Who will they be presenting to?
When the student's present their products, they first present to a panel of peers and teachers. This first presentation is a "vetting" process. This is used to determine which team of experts will move on to the final presentation. The teams will be judged on presentation of data researched, the accuracy to the solution and the presentation of the solution.
The groups that continue will be presenting to a panel of experts. These experts can consist of; geologists, petroleum industry, economists, political, and other professional fields. These experts will use rubrics to score each team,  review the presentations and then ask questions to clarify any issues of understanding.
